Ingredients
- 8 Medium Whole Ripe Tomatoes The base of the salsa that packs vitamin c, potassium, along with other micronutrients and phytochemicals.
- 3 Medium Poblano Peppers Adding some spice, roasted flavoring, and micronutrients to the salsa.
- 4 Medium Jalapeno Peppers Adding some spice, roasted flavoring, and traces of micronutrients to the salsa.
- 4 Medium Juiced Limes A power house of vitamin C, while also adding a great tang to the salsa.
Seasonings
- 1 Tbsp Black Pepper
- 1 Tbsp Garlic Powder/Flakes
- 1 Tbsp Onion Powder/Flakes
- 1 Tbsp Oregano
- 2 tsp Sea Salt
Instructions
- Pre-heat the oven to 450 degrees farenheit
- Place all the tomatoes and peppers, with the stems and tops removed, onto a baking/cookie sheet and put then in the oven for ~30 minutes or until the tops of the tomatoes and peppers start to blacken.
- Throw in the tomatoes and peppers into a blender, along with all the other ingredients, and blend until everything is broken down and incorporated evenly.
- Serve up hot or cool down and store in the fridge for some added, fermentation flavor!
