- ΒΌ Cup Popcorn kernels When cooked, a good source of fiber and healthy, complex carbohydrates while being low in calories.
Add the popcorn kernels in a large microwaveable bowl
Cover the bowl, and cook in the microwave for 3 minutes
If all kernels are not popped, then cook for an additional 2 minutes or until you can not hear any kernels popping in the microwave
Take the bowl out and remove the cover, and your popcorn is ready to be enjoyed!
If you would like to add additional seasonings, garlic powder, cajun seasoning, cinnamon, black pepper, onion pwder, etc., you can but do be aware of any added sugars, refined oils, or large amounts of added sodium.
