- 2 Cups Plant-Based Milk I would go for hemp, oat, or cashew milk, but any other should do
- 3-4 Small to Medium Sized Medjool Dates This will sweeten the drink and make it a thicker consistency similar to animal milk
- 2 tsp Cacao Powder Go for organic and ethically sourced if possible, and add an additional tsp for a richer taste (stir in each tsp before trying)
In a blender add the plant-based milk and medjool dates (broken up by hand)
Blend until the dates are as finely chopped up as possible
Add the mixture into a pot and heat till it simmers
Add cacao powder into the heated mixture and stir with a whisk or spatula until it is fully mixed into the mixture. Add an additional tsp for a richer taste (stir in each tsp before trying)
Pour into a cup and enjoy:)
