Oven Toasted Tempeh
A quick, go-to, simple yet delicious tempeh recipe. It can be eaten by itself or be further used in a variety of dishes like: Pasta, stir-fry, salads, etc..

Ingredients
- 8 Oz Tempeh Such a wonderful source of many nutrients including protein, carbohydrates, iron, calcium, fiber, zinc, etc., and it holds flavor very well.
Seasonings (Optional)
- 2 tsp Black Pepper
- 2 tsp Turmeric
- 2 tsp Paprika
- 1 Tbsp Garlic Powder/Flakes
- 1 Tbsp Onion Powder/Flakes
- 2 tsp Oregano
- 3 Tbsp Soy Sauce/Tamari
Instructions
- First, cut the tempeh block into vertical, thin slices
- Place onto a cookie tray (With aluminum foil, parchment paper, etc. if you would like)
- Spread out all seasonings on top of the sliced tempeh (Optional)
- Oven bake at 450 degrees farenheit and for 1 hour, or until it gets crispy on the outside.
- It's ready to enjoy or be added to other dishes!!
