Oven Toasted Tempeh

Ingredients

  • 8 Oz Tempeh Such a wonderful source of many nutrients including protein, carbohydrates, iron, calcium, fiber, zinc, etc., and it holds flavor very well.

Seasonings (Optional)

  • 2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 tsp Turmeric
  • 2 tsp Paprika
  • 1 Tbsp Garlic Powder/Flakes
  • 1 Tbsp Onion Powder/Flakes
  • 2 tsp Oregano
  • 3 Tbsp Soy Sauce/Tamari

Instructions

  • First, cut the tempeh block into vertical, thin slices
  • Place onto a cookie tray (With aluminum foil, parchment paper, etc. if you would like)
  • Spread out all seasonings on top of the sliced tempeh (Optional)
  • Oven bake at 450 degrees farenheit and for 1 hour, or until it gets crispy on the outside.
  • It's ready to enjoy or be added to other dishes!!
