Oven Toasted Tempeh
A quick, go-to, simple yet delicious tempeh recipe. It can be eaten by itself or be further used in a variety of dishes like: Pasta, stir-fry, salads, etc..

8 Oz Tempeh Such a wonderful source of many nutrients including protein, carbohydrates, iron, calcium, fiber, zinc, etc., and it holds flavor very well. Seasonings (Optional) 2 tsp Black Pepper 2 tsp Turmeric 2 tsp Paprika 1 Tbsp Garlic Powder/Flakes 1 Tbsp Onion Powder/Flakes 2 tsp Oregano 3 Tbsp Soy Sauce/Tamari
First, cut the tempeh block into vertical, thin slices
Place onto a cookie tray (With aluminum foil, parchment paper, etc. if you would like)
Spread out all seasonings on top of the sliced tempeh (Optional)
Oven bake at 450 degrees farenheit and for 1 hour, or until it gets crispy on the outside.
It's ready to enjoy or be added to other dishes!!
